BlackBerry Connect Presenter to an external monitor

If possible, use a VGA cable to connect to an external monitor. When using a VGA cable, the maximum resolution of the screen is 1024 x 768 pixels, whereas with S-video cable, the maximum resolution of the screen is only 640 x 480 pixels.

1. Depending on the external monitor you use, connect a VGA or S-Video cable to the corresponding port of BlackBerry Presenter.

2. Connect the VGA or S-Video cable to the external display. For more information, see the documentation for the external display.

If you use an S-Video cable to connect your external display to make sure that the NTSC / PAL switch is in the right position. According to the video format supported by your country, move the NTSC / PAL switch in the position NTSC or PAL.

Switch to external monitor without key Fn

problem:

"happy" owner of a Dell Inspiron 3800 with a cheap plastic keyboard, I am faced with a dilemma:

I would switch my output to the external output by Fn + F8

Alas my Fn key is down dead (like the Ctrl-suite, but for her it's okay, there's little sister on the other side), is there a key combination or other means of "simulate" pressing the Fn key?

VGA port for external monitor

You can connect a standard external monitor to your laptop via a cable for transmitting display signals (usually supplied with the monitor). One end of this cable must be fitted with a 15-pin connector.

To connect an external monitor to your system, follow these steps:

1.Make sure your laptop and your monitor is off.

2.Insert the 15 pin connector cable into the monitor port on your system and secure the screws which it is provided.

3.Plug the power cable from your monitor into a grounded wall outlet.

4.Follow the installation instructions in the manual of your monitor, if necessary.

5.Put your system and peripherals.

6.Use the appropriate function key to scroll through the video modes.
